Greetings,

My name is Joe Corcoran, and I am the President of the Eagan/Eastview Alpine Ski Booster Club. For those of you who are new to the team, welcome! The booster club serves to enhance the experience of our skiers throughout the ski season. As a booster club, we assist financially with the many expenses the team incurs throughout the season, such as coaching salaries and equipment, and we help organize several team activities.

 It is the Booster Club’s goal to create a fun and special season for each of our skiers. To do that, we need help from everyone. As we move towards the 2024-2025 ski season, I am asking for two things from each of you. First, is your time. The second is your financial support.

From a time perspective, there are many ways that each one of you can help:

• Each JV and Varsity race needs gate judges. Without them, the races can’t run. You do not need to be an experienced skier or racer; we will provide training at an upcoming booster meeting. 

• Help setting up and tearing down the team tent at the invitationals and section races.

• Volunteer to bring food and/or drink for our invitationals and section races.

• Take pictures of the skiers on the course during conference races.

• Host a team gathering in your home.

From a cost perspective, we are asking this year for a booster club contribution of $300 per skier. These fees cover many items, including:

• Invitational costs

• Repairing/Replacing critical team equipment, like gates and tents

• Any incidental/additional fees

• Additional coaching

• Food at team events

In addition to the booster club contribution the skiers have the option of purchasing the following:

• A team panoramic poster - $25 via the PayPal link on this site.

Finally, all parents are strongly encouraged to attend the monthly booster club meetings. Meetings dates and times are posted on the team calendar at alternating locations between Eagan and Eastview.
